Archlord Online is set on the continent of Chantra and features three playable races: Orcs, Humans and Moon Elves. They all have access to three classes.
The game of Archlord Online features a system where guilds battle in massive wars to siege and capture one of the castles in the world. The guilds occupying the castles then fight to decide who will be the next Archlord. This type of large scale warfare is what makes the game of Archlord Online unique.
The new Archlord will have powers beyond imagination. He controls day and night, has bodyguards to protect him, can cause a meteor shower and owns a dragon mount.
However, there is a price to pay for being the Archlord. Once you die, when fighting monsters or other players, you will come back to life as a normal player. No more Archlord, no more powers.
For this, other people will hunt you. Not everyone agrees to the ruling of the Archlord. Many will try, and many will die.
